Solicitors for the Elderly to host webinar on loss, grief and bereavement

Solicitors for the Elderly is hosting a Zoom meeting on 12 November in which Pauline Gibb, a counsellor will present a session on loss, grief and bereavement.

She will speak for 15-20 minutes, followed by a question and answer session.

This meeting is free to attend and it is open to SFE members and non-members. Due to the interactive nature of the meeting numbers shall be restricted therefore if you wish to attend please email Lindsay Maclean, regional director at lindsay.maclean@gibsonkerr.co.uk as soon as possible to register your place.

A Zoom link will be sent to attendees in due course. You can obtain information about becoming an SFE member from our website. All SFE meetings are verifiable for CPD and CPD certificates can be provided if required.

SFE is an organisation of solicitors and paralegals who specialise in providing legal services to older people and to people who may be vulnerable as a result of physical and mental health or incapacity. SFE members hold a recognised accreditation for their expert knowledge and experience in the legal issues that affect older and vulnerable clients.

On 3 September 2020 the SFE held its first webinar meeting by Zoom in which 32 attendees were able to access a presentation on pursuing “Elderly Negligent Care Personal Injury Claims” presented by Joy Bell, solicitor, Digby Brown.

The feedback from this meeting was very positive and the SFE would like to welcome any Solicitors who have an interest in elderly care to access the SFE website.
