SYLA: Spotlight on… neurodiversity and emotional intelligence
The Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association (SYLA), in association with the ADHD Advocate, is to host an event on November 1 focusing on neurodiversity within the workplace and the importance of developing emotional intelligence skills as a lawyer.
The event will be led by the founder and CEO of the ADHD Advocate, Stephanie Camilleri.
Stephanie founded The ADHD Advocate in 2018. Following the diagnosis of her daughter, and subsequently her own diagnosis, she left her role as a Magic Circle lawyer in banking with a mission to educate and inspire as many people as possible to understand and embrace ADHD.
Her passion about raising ADHD awareness in education, healthcare and the workplace lead her to start providing advocacy, training and coaching services to help not just ADHDers but their families and employers too.
A live Q&A session will conclude the event. Questions can be sent in advance to mail@syla.co.uk or or via Zoom on the night.
