Stephen McGowan wins at Scottish Professional Awards

The annual awards celebrate excellence in professional and business services (PBS) in Scotland, extending across a range of sectors including law, audit, accountancy, advertising and market research, management consultancy, architectural and engineering activities, and employment activities.

Mr McGowan joined TLT in 2012 and since then, has overseen the building of the licensing team from scratch into “a highly regarded team” according to Chambers 2023. Stephen is now recognised, at the highest levels, as an expert in licensing law both in Scotland and across the UK.

He said: “I was surprised and delighted to win this award. It is recognition for the amazing licensing team at TLT LLP - I am very lucky to have such a committed group of colleagues who are passionate about our clients and the work we do. I’d like to thank Caroline Loudon, Lynn Simpson, Alison Smith Nicola Smith, Jean Muir, Jacqueline Worton and Caroline for all their graft.
