Strathclyde Law Clinic to hold IWD event on sexual harassment in the workplace

The University of Strathclyde Law Clinic is holding its second annual International Women’s day event entitled: ‘Sexual Harassment in the workplace: using law to #PressforProgress’ incorporating the worldwide theme for this years’ event.
Due to strike action by the Universities and College Union, campaigning for fair pensions, we have decided to mark IWD later in the month to allow all students and staff to attend.
Registration: Free, but spaces are limited so early registration is reccomended.

1.30pm – 2.30pm – Panel discussion
2.30pm – 3.00pm - Question and answer session

This event will take the format of a panel discussion led by Law Clinic director, Kate Laverty. We will then open the floor to the audience for a question and answer session.
Our guest speakers on the panel will include
Sarah Collins – policy officer from the Scottish Trade Unions Congress and ‘Better than Zero’ representative
A representative from Thompsons Solicitors, specialist employment lawyers.
Vic Valentine – Policy Officer from Scottish Trans and the Equality Network
