Stronachs boosts corporate division with new partner hire
Stronachs LLP has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of Ross Gardner as partner.
Mr Gardner, 38, says the opportunity to join Stronachs provided the right move, at the right time as he looks toward the next phase of his career and expanding his client base in the corporate sector.
He joins managing partner David Rennie, partners Neil Forbes, Malcolm Donald and Mark Brady in a department renowned for its work in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, shareholders’ activities, banking and finance and market listings.
Mr Gardner has more than 13 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law, having risen from trainee to partner at Raeburn Christie Clark and Wallace after qualifying from the University of Aberdeen.
“Stronachs is a long-established firm with a diverse, multi-sector client base, and a clear plan for growth, which made it the natural choice for me as I look toward the next stage of my career,” he said.
“We are all acutely aware of the challenges facing the marketplace, particularly in oil and gas and the associated effects felt in other areas.
“What the firm has done throughout this year is strengthen its offering to existing clients, and prepare for growth when economic recovery picks up by building on its structure, enhancing its ethos of achieving excellence with the very best support available at every level – and it’s exciting to be part of that team.”
Mr Rennie added: “Ross is another key addition to our team, bringing considerable experience across the sectors in the north-east , along with a real drive and commitment to business development, which is crucial as we look to meet our future ambitions.”
