Strong showing for Clyde & Co in legal directories
Clyde & Co has been recognised for its breadth of expertise following the publication of new rankings by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and The Times’ Best Law Firms directories.
The firm, which has three offices across Scotland, maintained Chambers and Partners rankings across eight categories including Band 1 for Personal Injury Mainly Defendant; Clinical Negligence Mainly Defendant; Professional Negligence, Professional Discipline and Product Liability. In addition, the firm secured 19 individual rankings.
The news comes shortly after Legal 500 confirmed Clyde & Co had maintained its rankings – and secured a number of rankings for individuals. This includes employment partner, Stephen Miller, who enters the Hall of Fame having represented both private and public sector organisations in a number of high-profile tribunals throughout the UK during his legal career.
In addition, senior associates Chris Dunn and Kimberley Mitchell were recommended for the first time.
Finally, Clyde & Co Scotland has achieved multiple rankings in The Times’ Best Law Firms 2024. The firm was commended for its work in commercial dispute resolution, personal injury and clinical negligence and professional negligence – and was the only practice in Scotland to be commended for its insurance work.
Vikki Melville, managing partner in Scotland for Clyde & Co, said: “To be recognised for the breadth and depth of our legal expertise, across a number of areas of law, is testament to the strength and capabilities of our people.
“I am particularly delighted that Stephen Miller’s employment work, spanning four decades, has been recognised in the L500 Hall of Fame. In addition, I am equally proud of the recognition achieved by Chris and Kimberley, which reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining the best talent in the market.”
