Stuart Macfarlane

“Stuart Gordon Macfarlane was born in Glasgow in 1963, the son of Peter MacFarlane, a chartered engineer, and his wife Anna (née Williamson). They survive him with his sister Janet, a retired school teacher. He was educated at Bearsden Academy, East Dunbartonshire, and studied law at the University of Glasgow. In 1987 he was admitted as solicitor by the Law Society of Scotland, taking up positions with Levy & McRae, Dorman Jeffrey, McGrigor Donald and Semple Fraser, where he was a partner and head of construction.”
