SYLA: More than just a lawyer… Leadership for the Next Generation

Thursday, 10 May 2018 from 6pm at SSC Members’ Lounge, Edinburgh

As we continue into a new era of technological advancement, with clients increasingly demanding tangible results for the money they are paying their lawyers, an ability to effectively and efficiently work with and lead a team of professionals will be in great demand.

To learn more about this we have organised our first “more than just a lawyer… leadership for the next generation” seminar. Our speakers include:

  • Bruce Beveridge, Past President of the Law Society of Scotland and now Chief Executive at the British Society of Animal Science. Bruce has held a wide range of senior leadership roles across both government (UK and Scottish) and the private sector.

  • Graham Robertson, Development Director at Project Scotland and Trustee for the LawScot Foundation. Graham regularly provides training to senior managers of law firms and businesses on the intergenerational challenges that have emerged in today’s society

    • Both of our speakers have vast experience in leadership and dealing with young professionals. Join us for this engaging seminar which will begin with talks from both of our speakers and will close with an interactive Q&A and refreshments.
