Tenth anniversary edition of Dundee Student Law Review published
The tenth edition of the Dundee Student Law Review has been published.
Volume X commemorates the tenth anniversary of the journal and opens with a preface and acknowledgements by the project’s chair, Tom Edwards. It features the winning article of the 2023 Jonathan Leslie Memorial Essay Prize Competition, written by Jack Anderson as well as articles by alumna Mollie McGoran on the equitable incorporation of non-binary identities into Scots law and whether IR35 taxation rules are appropriately applied to personal service companies and partnerships.
It also has, among others, two award-winning articles from the University of Aberdeen: the first is by Christianna Cameron who considers minority language rights within Scots law and the resurrection of Scottish Gaelic.
The second is by Sashka Bakalova and considers the expansion of the evidential value of distress evidence in sexual offence trials in Scotland.
