Terra Firma Chambers’ ‘Four Cities Tour’
Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to announce details of its ‘Four Cities Tour’, encompassing visits to Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow this November.
As part of TFC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening links with law firms and direct access organisations throughout Scotland, we will be hosting seminars in Inverness on the 7th, Aberdeen on the 8th, Edinburgh on the 27th and Glasgow on 28th November. At these events, Terra Firma members will present ‘Four talks in Four Cities’, covering a range of topics of significant interest at both regional and national level:
- Housing Law - Recent Cases and Legislation Update | Mark Lazarowicz
- Here Comes the Flood – What’s the Remedy? | Ewen Brown
- Rectification of the Land Register | Alan Innes
- Planning & Environmental Law Update | Graham Dunlop / Fergus Colquhoun
In addition to the wealth of knowledge on offer from the speakers, the events will be chaired by four highly respected silks: Alasdair Burnet KC (Aberdeen); James Findlay KC (Inverness); Douglas Armstrong KC (Edinburgh); and Fred Mackintosh KC (Glasgow).
These events have been accredited for 2 hours of CPD by the Faculty of Advocates and are eligible for a similar award from the Law Society of Scotland for the solicitor branch of the profession.
Registration for the events in Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow will be from 4pm, with the talks starting at 4.30pm. The seminars will be followed by a drinks reception at 6.30pm.
The Aberdeen event offers registration and a light lunch from 12 noon with the seminar running from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
