Thorntons announces six new promotions

Two senior solicitors have been made associates, while four solicitors have been promoted to senior solicitor.

The two new associates are Anne Miller and Lynne Sturrock, who both work in the dispute resolution and claims department. Ms Miller is based in Dundee while Ms Sturrock works out of the Forfar office. Ms Miller deals primarily with commercial litigation and disputes, while Ms Sturrock deals with a range of issues including family and child law and mental health legislation.

The four new senior solicitors include appointments in the Edinburgh, Perth and Forfar offices. The promotions were awarded to land and rural business team member, Robin Dunlop, personal injury lawyer Lauren Fettes, who are both based in Edinburgh, Graham Lambert from Perth’s private client department and residential property expert Lynne Macintyre based in Forfar.

Ms Fettes said: “I completed my traineeship at Thorntons and have witnessed first-hand their support and investment in the growth and development of the business and their employees.”
