Thorntons welcomes new trainees
Thorntons has announced the appointment of five new trainees, with a further 12 to join in September.
Joining the private client team in Edinburgh and Perth respectively are Latasha Kirimbai, Gemma Vear and Ellen Grant, whilst Andrew MacQueen joins the business law team and Euan McLaughlan becomes part of the residential property team in Dundee.
Lesley Larg, managing partner of Thorntons, said: “As a firm, we proudly place people at the heart of everything we do. Trainees are key to our future success, and helping them gain a valuable breadth of experience to further develop their legal, business and client skills, is something we pride ourselves on.
“Latasha, Gemma, Andrew, Euan and Ellen will benefit from a tailored development programme that will see them given the best possible start to their legal career, with clear career pathways for their progression. We are really pleased to welcome them in to the Thorntons’ team.”
Mr MacQueen said: “I am delighted to be joining the Thorntons business law team. I chose Thorntons due to its rich history in law throughout Scotland. I hope my experiences in my education and career to date will help me to bring more value to the firm and clients that I will be working with.”
