TLT’s new Glasgow office built for employee wellbeing
TLT is getting ready to move into its new Glasgow office, which has been built specifically with the wellbeing of its employees in mind.
The firm’s new office is the first net-zero building in the city and includes features such as cycle-in ramps, a cool-down zone, germ eating paint on the walls to purify the air, a fleet of e-scooters for staff to use, EV car charging and healthy lunches and snacks.
John Paul Sheridan, TLT’s head of location in Scotland, said of the firm’s move to Cadworks: “The link between employee wellbeing and working environment has been heightened by the pandemic, and it’s vital that employers are providing spaces that meet their people’s needs and allow them to produce their best work. Creating a working environment that supports our people to develop and excel at work is rooted within TLT strategic vision for 2025.
“Our move to Cadworks – Glasgow’s first fully sustainable office development – marks an important step towards achieving our commitment of providing the best working space possible for our professionals, supporting flexible working and enabling a culture that is inclusive of different working styles.
“Thanks to the building’s design, technology and facilities, Cadworks provides the perfect base to help support the firm in achieving these commitments. Everything in the Glasgow office has been planned with the health and wellbeing of colleagues at the forefront of priorities and the office space was designed from scratch following consultation with our people. We’ve invested in technology upgrades including implementing next generation technology-led hybrid meetings to support home-to-office interactions and allow employees to connect with colleagues regionally, nationally and internationally.”
