Top Chambers rankings for Arnot Manderson Advocates
Arnot Manderson Advocates is delighted to report thirty individual rankings (including thirteen in band 1) across thirteen separate practice areas in the recently announced chambers and partners listings.
As well as the haul of individual rankings Arnot Manderson has achieved stable wide recognition in tax (band 1), personal injury and clinical negligence.
Andrew Young QC with five individual rankings is noted as one of Scotland’s “Stars at the Bar”.
His rankings cover, clinical negligence, commercial dispute resolution, tax, personal injury and professional negligence.
Other seniors with multiple rankings include Jonathan Mitchell QC in administrative & public law, civil liberties & human rights and family/matrimonial and Iain Mitchell QC in public procurement, intellectual property and IT where he is described as “The leader in this field in Scotland”.
The stable continues to collect rankings in a diverse set of practice areas and typifying this across-the-board-strength are the eight stable members with rankings in multiple fields.
Besides the afore mentioned seniors they are Gerry Hanretty QC and the newly elected MP and SNP spokesperson for justice, Joanna Cherry QCas well as juniors Gordon Balfour, Arabella Tait and Neil Mackenzie.
In the family/matrimonial field the stable continues to boast the most ranked QCs, where Marie Clark – “a formidable advocate who can fight a strong case when needed.” - joins silks Kate Dowdalls QC and Jonathan Mitchell QC in achieving band 1 recognition.
