Trio promoted at Grant Smith Law Practice
The business, which has offices in Aberdeen, Banff, Buckie and Turriff, has also announced that one of its founding directors, Donald Macandrew, is stepping into a consultancy role after a career in the legal profession spanning more than 30 years.
A former student of Robert Gordon’s College and the University of Aberdeen, Mr Macandrew headed up the private client area of the business alongside fellow director Andrew Duthie. Mr Macandrew will continue to service private clients across his particular areas of expertise, including property sales, property purchase, leasing, wills and executries.
Sheila Ritchie, director, said: “These latest associate promotions demonstrate the firm’s ethos of rewarding our members of staff for their hard work. I am confident each of the three new associates will continue to repay our faith in them, offering a valuable level of service to our clients, both large and small, across the north-east of Scotland.
“We are also pleased that Donald will remain with the firm in a consultancy role and continue to share his wealth of experience.”
Mr Sturrock is a graduate of the University of Dundee. He first joined Grant Smith Law Practice in May 2014, having built up significant experience in criminal and civil litigation, as well as child law, in part through his traineeship with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.
