Jones Whyte has welcomed 12 new first-year trainee solicitors to its 2024 intake.

The new cohort completed their first week with the firm with an induction program.

Michael McLean, partner and head of litigation at Jones Whyte, said: “Every year brings with it a new feeling of pride as we welcome our new trainees, many of whom are already established members of the Jones Whyte team.

“We are genuinely committed to discovering and developing our own talent, and it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my role to see these individuals take this major step in their legal careers with us.

“Our skills week really stands out as a unique experience that we are continuing to develop and improve each year. We offer a fast-paced, practical and high-accountability traineeship that gives real-world experience to our trainees; something that leads naturally to our firm producing and retaining highly competent solicitors.”
