Two internships for law students at Scottish Social Services Council

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has two paid placements available for law students.

The SSSC is flexible with dates but is looking for people available between July 2018 and March 2019.

The placements are in the Hearings Department; the team is responsible for managing Fitness to Practise Panels.

Both positions will give interns an opportunity to work in a hearings (tribunal-type) system.

They will support the hearing process as the clerk and will make sure it runs smoothly. They will attend hearings, make recordings, make notes and help to administer each hearing. The hearings comply with our Fitness to Practise Rules.

You’ll find more information in the job description and person specification.

Please send your completed application form to recruitment@sssc.uk.com by 10am on Monday 11 June 2018 quoting ‘Hearings Intern’ as the email subject. You’ll find the application form in the related publications section of this page.

Interviews are likely to be held week commencing 25 June 2018.
