Two new sites for Harper Macleod as it makes moves in Edinburgh and online
Harper Macleod has opened two new sites this week after making a significant investment to support its continued growth.
The firm moved into its new office at Citypoint in Edinburgh on Monday, tripling its physical footprint in the capital.
This was followed on by the launch of the new Harper Macleod website (www.harpermacleod.co.uk) – a fully responsive site optimised for viewing on mobile devices and tablets, as well as desktop computers.
Martin Darroch, chief executive of Harper Macleod, said: “Our new office gives us the facilities to provide our quality and value of service to even more clients, including those from outwith the Scottish jurisdiction.
“We have already added to our headcount in the city with two partners joining as lateral hires in June, and there are more to come.
“Meanwhile digital continues to be important channel for law firms, including as a source of business.
“It is essential that we provide the best user experience for those increasing numbers accessing services online, particularly via mobile devices, and that is precisely what our new website does.”
Harper Macleod’s new office at Citypoint, 65 Haymarket Terrace is near Haymarket train station, and replaces the firm’s office on Melville Street.
The firm now has a headcount of more than 350, including 63 partners which make it Scotland’s fourth largest legal partnership, and the fifth largest professional partnership overall.
