Water law expert to make a splash in aid of charity

Dr Jill Robbie, lecturer in private law at the University of Glasgow, will be swapping the classroom for the pool in aid of spinal cord injury charity Aspire this semester.
Taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2017, Jill will be swimming the distance of the Channel over a period of 12 weeks to raise money for the charity.
She said: “Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. Aspire is a charity that provides help to those suffering an injury so that they can live fulfilling lives.
“I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for this worthy cause and am looking forward to clocking up those miles in the pool in between lectures and tutorials this semester!”
