Watermans has two accredited personal injury specialists after managing director’s recognition
Scott Whyte, managing director of Watermans Accident Claims and Care, has been accredited as a personal injury specialist by the Law Society of Scotland.
Mr Whyte is one of only 73 solicitors accredited in that field, and one of only 500 of Scotland’s 11,000 solicitors who are accredited at all.
Watermans is now home to two accredited specialists in personal injury as fellow solicitor Susanne McGraw has previously been recognised.
Mr Whyte said: “This endorsement by the Law Society of Scotland fills me with pride both personally and professionally, especially given the number of accredited specialists in my area of expertise.
“As lawyers must have been practising for seven years to receive accreditation, this is the earliest opportunity I’ve had to be recognised so I’m happy to be accredited at the first time of becoming eligible. For clients, dealing with someone who has this been given this status offers them peace of mind and that is the most important thing to me.”
Mr Whyte became the firm’s managing director in January 2014 after joining as a solicitor in October 2010.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Solicitors (APIL) and the Motor Accident Solicitor Society (MASS).
