WJM appoints Amanda Masson as new head of family law

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has announced the appointment of Amanda Masson as head of family law.

Ms Masson, who joins from Harper Macleod, has 25 years of experience and is an experienced litigator in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.

Among her specialisms are child relocation and high value financial provision in cases involving family businesses, as well as in family creation and fertility law.

She said: “I’m excited to joined Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie as it’s clear the firm is committed to excellence in client service and that is very important to me.

“Family law is an area that requires both expertise and sensitivity, and helping clients navigate legal challenges in this area is a real privilege.

“I am looking forward to growing the team across Scotland – which already has a sterling reputation and was a huge influence in me deciding to join the firm”.
