Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) is to provide expertise free of charge to local businesses looking to make the most of the benefits of the Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport (ICFGF).

Partner Angus MacLeod, who is the head of the firm’s Inverness office, will provide free advice to users of The PowerHouse – which is the skills and innovation vehicle of the ICFGF – in the city on Thursday 20 February via their legal support desk.

Working with Brodies LLP, WJM will kick off the initiative, which will run on the penultimate Thursday of every month.

The legal support desk runs between 10am and 3pm from UHI House on Old Perth Road, with PowerHouse users welcome to drop in for a chat with one of our lawyers, who will be ready to provide expert support with any legal queries.

Mr MacLeod said: “We are thrilled to be working with Brodies to help deliver this important initiative, which should help stimulate business in the area. The Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport provides huge opportunities for our region, but also many legal challenges to get work up and running.

“Our experts at the WJM Inverness office will be on hand at The PowerHouse to answer any questions local businesses may have. We hope our advice we can assist in driving their projects forward.”
