Womble Bond Dickinson to combine with Lewis Roca
Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD), which has an office in Edinburgh, has announced a combination with Lewis Roca in the US, creating a firm of more than 1,200 lawyers in 37 offices in the United States and the United Kingdom.
With a planned effective date of 1 January 2025, the firm will operate as Womble Bond Dickinson, and be led in the US by incoming chair and CEO Merrick Benn and vice chair Kenneth Van Winkle. The firm is led in the UK by managing partner Paul Stewart and chair Alexander Dickinson.
