Women in Law Scotland to ‘soft launch’ in Glasgow and Edinburgh
It is aimed at lawyers and paralegals in private practice and in-house, irrespective of the size of firm and specialism.
The main aims of the network are to promote gender equality in the Scottish legal profession and to create a forum for networking, sharing ideas and best practice.
The network also hopes to create a platform to provide peer support and access to role models and mentors.
Before holding its formal launch event in the early part of 2016, the founding members are holding drinks events – with welcome drinks sponsored by CMS– in Edinburgh and Glasgow in order to “soft launch” the network.
Davinia, Iona and Emma would be delighted to see, and share a drink with, all fellow professionals interested in being part of the network at those events.
On 26 November, you will find WiLS at Virginia Court in the Merchant City, Glasgow, between 6pm and 9pm
On 3 December, you will find WiLS at The Makar’s Rest, North Bank Street, Edinburgh, between 6pm and 9pm
If you are interesting in attending either (or both!) events, please register your interest here for the Glasgow event and here for the Edinburgh event.
You can also join WiLS on LinkedIn and follow its Twitter feed:@womeninlawscot.
