Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie appoints two in Inverness
Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) is further expanding its legal team in the north of Scotland with two new associate appointments.
Paul Adams, a former senior associate at Stronachs, is joining the commercial property team.
Mr Adams also previously worked as a solicitor for the Highland Council, dealing with property and planning matters throughout the Highlands. He is recommended by the Legal 500 for his commercial property work and brings with him a wealth of property and planning experience.
The firm has also appointed JP Campbell as a private client associate.
Mr Campbell has developed strong commercial experience initially as a corporate insolvency specialist with HBJ Gateley in Edinburgh and thereafter starting and selling his own food business. He also co-founded One Feeds Two, a social enterprise firm which partners with leading food brands to deliver successful cause marketing campaigns. Combining this with several years as a private client solicitor with Murchison Law in Inverness, he is uniquely qualified to advise business families on succession objectives and estate & IHT planning, as well as providing general private client advice.
Angus MacLeod, partner at WJM, said: “In the last 12 months we have substantially grown our commercial and private client businesses and these appointments reflect our ambitions to bring increased choice and breadth of legal technical expertise for our clients, delivered by people with local knowledge who live and work in the Highlands.
“Paul and JP are great additions to our team here in the Highlands and their appointments will enable us to further grow our business in the year ahead.”
