Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP appoints Paul Adams and JP Campbell as partners
Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP has announced the appointment of two new partners at its Inverness office.
Paul Adams and JP Campbell, who both joined the team in 2018 as associates, have been promoted to partners at the law firm’s Highland branch.
Mr Adams, who previously worked as a senior associate at Stronachs before joining WJM’s commercial property team, has vast experience in property and planning matters throughout the Highlands. He is recommended by the Legal 500 for his commercial property work.
Mr Campbell, also a Highland local, has worked for a number of years in Edinburgh as a corporate insolvency and restructuring lawyer before returning to the North in 2015 with his young family.
Since then he has developed a particular interest in inheritance tax planning, family business succession, trusts, asset protection and the post death administration of complex estates. He is also actively involved in charity work as a trustee of One Feeds Two and a director of Highland Fields Sports Fair.
Angus MacLeod, lead partner at WJM’s Inverness office, said: “I’m really pleased to announce these promotions. JP and Paul are both extremely experienced solicitors, and their combined expertise in their respective areas has meant they’ve quickly become invaluable members of the team.
“Their promotions reflect the dedication and commitment they’ve shown over the past eighteen months, and the continued growth of WJM’s practice in the region.
“We’re committed to developing talent at WJM and ensuring we have the strongest team offering for our clients. This marks the beginning of a very exciting time for us here in the Inverness office with more developments on the horizon in the coming weeks.”
WJM has 33 partners across its five offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Dunfermline and Dunblane.
