As a Solicitor within our Employment team in Glasgow you will represent a variety of clients from a broad spectrum of industry sectors that are facing Employment Tribunal claims, including but not limited to:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Discrimination
  • TUPE
  • Whistleblowing

The role is primarily litigation based, dealing with claims which start at the ACAS EC stage through to a final hearing.

However, there is a mixed case load as the successful candidate will be expected to take calls from our rradar station which are non-contentious in nature, including but not limited to:

  • Disciplinary
  • Grievance
  • Handbook and Contractual reviews

We are looking for a qualified solicitor, ideally with 5+ years’ PQE gained within a reputable employment department. Candidates outside of this PQE with the right experience will also be considered. You will be an experienced employment law specialist used to dealing with fast paced litigation and complex cases. The ability to manage your own case load and support junior team members is essential.

The successful candidates must be hardworking and committed with values that align with our own. The candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. We are looking for someone who can show great initiative and who can develop the role as the company grows.
