Inverness College Board of Management - Board Recruitment 2019

The Board of Management of Inverness College UHI is seeking three new Board members and up to four co-opted members to join the Board at this exciting time of growth and development for the College. The Board has responsibility for the governance and oversight of the work of the College by providing it with strategic leadership, guidance and direction. The Board has a key role to play in supporting and inspiring its staff to deliver the highest standards of learning and teaching for its students.

Membership of the Board is an excellent way for individuals to get involved in supporting and developing our local community by contributing your knowledge and expertise to the College to help it deliver a high quality student experience while developing strong links with key individuals, employers, businesses and industry throughout the Inverness and surrounding areas.

To support our recruitment campaign, the Board are hosting an open evening on 17 September 2019 for individuals who would like to find out more about this exciting opportunity. This relaxed and informal event will start with a tour of the stunning Inverness College UHI building on the Inverness Campus at 5.30pm followed by an overview of the work of the Board by our Chair Neil Stewart and other members of the Board. Attendees will then have an opportunity to chat with other Board members and staff about the role of a Board member and also ask any questions about the College.
