Private Client Solicitor (NQ – 2Yrs)



Fife/Angus/Dundee

Thorntons has one of the largest Private Client teams in Scotland. Our team are experts in every aspect of Private Client work and are recognised as leaders in their field. Our firm is growing and we are looking for another Solicitor to join this busy team. We are flexible on location for this role, although ideally it will be based in one of our Fife, Angus or Dundee offices. Our hybrid working approach allows for a blend of working at home as well as in the office.

Where every day is different

You will advise individuals and families on all aspects of planning for their future including Wills, Executries, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Tax and Estate planning and Asset protection. The strength and breadth of experience in the team means that you will have a strong support network as you develop your experience and expertise in this field and we will fully support you to achieve your long term career goals.

About you

You will ideally have some previous experience in Wills, Trusts and Executries either during your Traineeship or as a Qualified Solicitor. You will be passionate about client service and committed to building and sustaining good client relationships. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills necessary to work in a multi-location team. You will also be keen to play a role in business development and networking activities and participate in the strategic growth of the firm.

Hours

  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35 hrs per week.
