Would you like to be part of one of the leading Public Sector and Housing teams in the country?
At Harper Macleod you’ll be part of a collective effort that is never satisfied: sharing the stresses, celebrating the successes and inspiring one another to always improve. You want to deliver extraordinary results for your clients. We want to deliver extraordinary opportunities for you, and encourage you to make a difference.
You will bring your property and conveyancing experience to an award-winning team that acts for a wide range of Scottish and UK public and third sector organisations, as well as those in the private sector who interact with the public sector.
Your clients will include central government directorates, local authorities, non-departmental public bodies, regulatory bodies, housing associations and charities as well as private sector property developers and investors.
A large part of the team’s workload involves supporting these clients in relation to their diverse property requirements which include: development site acquisitions and assembly; commercial leases; deeds of conditions for mixed tenure developments; shared equity and shared ownership; large-scale security exercises; property due diligence reports; secured grant funding; property factoring; and ad hoc queries.
If you take pride in adding value to your clients, by providing a responsive expert technical service but also being able to provide services in a way which demonstrates understanding of the particular environment within which each client operates, you will fit right in.
You must have experience of commercial property law, be a self-starter capable of dealing with a wide variety of queries and be able to work confidently in a fast moving environment. Experience of working with public sector or social housing organisations is an advantage, but not essential.
Let your ambitions and ours go hand in hand
