Solicitor/Executry Paralegal - Private Client


Description           Our firm is the result of the merger of two highly respected and long-established law firms who came together to form Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace in 2004. Today we have grown to become one of the largest legal firms in the North East of Scotland with a staff of over 120. We have our Head Office and Property Shop in Aberdeen and a strong network of branch offices in Banchory, Ellon, Inverurie and Stonehaven.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and efficient Solicitor (NQ – 3 years PQE) or an experienced Executry Paralegal to work as part of our Private Client department, based at Albyn Place.

Private Client Solicitor

Ideally we require a candidate with experience in all manner of Private Client transactions, including but not limited to:-

Wills, Trusts, Executry Estates, Power of Attorney and Guardianship, and Tax and Wealth Planning and Management.

Executry Paralegal

Duties will include providing support to professional staff within our Executry Department, including handling transactions with minimal supervision and seeing transactions through to closure.               

Location                Aberdeen


Hours                    35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 17h15 (1 ¼ hour lunch)


Q/E                        Previous experience as a Private Client Solicitor or Executry Paralegal essential.

The successful candidate should have a kind and understanding disposition, excellent communication skills, a good work ethic, the ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Case Management Systems desirable.
