35 hours per week (part time and job share requests will be considered)

Our office is based in Dundee however working location is flexible

We are the independent regulator for social service workers in Scotland. We protect the public by registering social service workers, setting standards for their practice, conduct, training and education and by supporting their professional development. Where people fall below the standards of practice and conduct, we can investigate and take action.

 About the roles

Due to colleagues developing and moving on to other organisations, we are pleased to be able to offer solicitor roles within the Fitness to Practise Department focusing on our fitness to practise work.

You must demonstrate that you:

       ·         have relevant qualifications and experience in your particular area of interest

Our office is in Dundee, but during COVID-19 these roles are home based until there is no longer a requirement to physically distance. We actively encourage remote working and support a less office-based format even after government advice changes. We are happy to discuss individual arrangements and consider agile working as an option depending on job requirements (such as attendance at the office for hearings, training events and meetings etc). We welcome applications from candidates outside Dundee and the surrounding areas.
