Gilson Gray LLP are a comprehensive law firm, offering expert legal, property and financial services. We support clients throughout their entire lifetime. The Real Estate team have decades of experience and can advise on every related situation.

Based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, North Berwick and Lincoln we focus on ensuring we provide the highest level of advice and on-going service to our clients. We are ambitious and have significantly grown the team over the course of the last year. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients personally and providing the upmost standard of service.

This role would be based in either our Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen office.

Although the role is most suited to junior solicitors, all levels of PQE will be considered.

We are looking to hire a highly driven Solicitor to join our successful Commercial Real Estate department.

The Role

We are looking to further strengthen our current team with the appointment of an experienced candidate.

As a Solicitor at Gilson Gray you’ll be responsible for:

  • Taking instructions, including attending meetings as taking notes as required.
  • Ensuring that client files are kept up to date with all correspondence and documents.
  • Maintaining regular client contact and ensuring clients are up to date.
  • Drafting legal documentation.
  • Title examination and reporting.
  • Dealing with LBTT and registration.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • A breadth of experience in Commercial Real Estate
  • Ability to think laterally with a strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work on behalf of a diverse mix client set including family offices, HNWs, investors, lenders and utility providers.
