Paralegal

Do you find yourself wanting more from your role and to do work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives? If so, maybe it’s time for a change. Maybe it’s time to consider whether the legal work you do matters, because in the role we have for you, it really matters to the people you’ll help.

Our firm continues to go from strength to strength and, owing to continual growth, we are recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join our General Personal Injury Litigation (GPIL) team in Dundee, on a full-time, permanent basis. We think that you could be that Paralegal.

Based in Endeavour House, the Dundee office is centrally located and easily accessible by road, with the local bus services stopping just a few minutes’ walk away in the city centre. There are also various car parks located a few minutes’ walk away from the office; Overgate, Shore Terrace, Crichton Street, Greenmarket multi-storey car park and an open-air car park directly across from the multi-storey. The office can be easily reached by rail, with the train station immediately next to the office. In addition, the successful candidate will benefit from Digby Brown’s flexible hybrid working policy, meaning that you would not be required to work in the office five days per week.

Digby Brown’s Dundee are team renowned for their work in providing expert legal support in:

• Road traffic accidents
• Workplace injuries
• Beauty treatment claims
• Occupier and Public Liability claims
• Equine accident cases

Each specialist department deals exclusively with these types of accidents, which allows our qualified Dundee lawyers to build up extensive knowledge and years of experience in all aspects surrounding the type and nature of the accident and subsequent injuries.

As well as securing rightful compensation for these claims, which is a key consideration based on the injuries sustained by these people, you will be responsible for guiding them through one of the most traumatic times in their lives – providing support, empathy and helping them find closure.

In joining the team, you will benefit from its expertise, experience, resources, and reputation, as you embark upon an exciting new chapter in your career in a very challenging and rewarding area of PI law.

We want you to ask yourself…

• Am I an enthusiastic individual with strong, client-focused litigation skills?
• Do I have some experience in general personal injury law or civil litigation? Or am I now looking to move into an area of law where I can make a real difference to clients?
• Do I have a keen eye for detail, the ability to act on my own initiative and a strong desire to help others, with the ability to display an empathetic and proactive approach in dealing with clients?
• Can I be a team player - someone who can manage their own case holding, whilst supporting others in a team with more complex cases?

If the above resonates, and helping people really matters to you, we want you to apply for this post. To do so, please send your CV and covering letter to David Hendrie, by e-mail at recruit@digbybrown.co.uk.
