RTA Paralegal

Do you find yourself wanting more from your role? Wanting to do work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives? If so, maybe it’s time for a change. Maybe it’s time to consider whether the legal work you do matters, because in the role we have for you, it really matters to the people you’ll help.

Our firm continues to go from strength to strength and, owing to continual growth, we are currently recruiting for an RTA paralegal to join our General Personal Injury Litigation team in Glasgow, on a full-time, permanent basis. We think you could be that paralegal.

Are you looking to be based in a bustling city centre office that acts as the headquarters of our firm? If so, our flagship office in Glasgow would be the perfect fit for you! More than 100 staff are based at this location, making this the firm’s largest. From here, we have helped hundreds of people across Glasgow and surrounding areas secure rightful compensation after an accident or injury which was not their fault.

As well as securing compensation, which is vital due to the injuries sustained by these people, you will be responsible for guiding them through one of the most traumatic times in their lives – providing support, empathy and helping them find closure.

The General Personal Injury Litigation department (or GPIL for short) is one of the firm’s largest teams and help people affected by a wide range of cases, including:

  • Road Traffic
  • Employer’ Liability
  • Occupier Liability
  • Public Liability
  • Fatal Accidents

Based at 2 West Regent Street, G2 1RW, we’re a stone’s throw away from Buchanan Street, Scotland’s busiest street. Getting to our Glasgow office is easy - we are a 5-minute walk away from Glasgow Queen Street train station, a 10-minute walk away from Glasgow Central train station, and Buchanan Bus station.

If you live in, or are close to the city centre, and are keen to be based in a fast-paced and progressive office environment, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for!

In joining the team, you will benefit from its expertise, experience, resources, and reputation, as you embark upon an exciting new chapter in your career in a very challenging and rewarding area of PI law.

We want you to ask yourself…

• Am I an enthusiastic individual with strong, client-focused litigation skills?
• Do I have some experience in general personal injury law or civil litigation? Or have I been working in commercial litigation and am now looking to move into an area of law where I can make a real difference to clients?
• Do I have a keen eye for detail, the ability to act on my own initiative and a strong desire to help others, with the ability to display an empathetic and proactive approach in dealing with clients?
• Can I be a team player - someone who can manage their own case holding, whilst supporting others in a team with more complex cases?

If the above resonates, and helping people really matters to you, we want you to apply for this post. To do so, please send your CV and covering letter to David Hendrie, by e-mail at recruit@digbybrown.co.uk as soon as possible.
