Working hours: Part time – 3 / 3.5 days per week
We are open to discussing how these days and hours would be worked to suit business requirements.

The role
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Associate or Director, with relevant experience, to join our forward thinking and dynamic Rural – Land & Business team. This role will assist with the provision of a quality service to clients primarily in relation to renewable energy projects including windfarms, solar farms, hydro schemes and battery storage and to provide advice to clients on the associated option and lease agreements.
The role will assist with the provision of a quality service to clients in relation to:-
• Purchase and sale of rural properties including farms, estates and forestry.
• Providing advice to landowners, developers and tenants on rural developments including housing development, telecoms and diversification.
• Commercial and sporting leasing.
• Security work for borrowers and lenders.
It would be advantageous but not essential to have experience in Agricultural Holdings and Crofting legislation.
You will also:
• Generate satisfactory level of fee income in accordance with team income targets, record all time and fee promptly during and/or on completion of transactions.
• Supervise, train and assist other members of the team in connection with renewable energy project work.
• Attend training courses and seminars and keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments.
• Participate in regular departmental business and training meetings.
• Promote and support the Firm’s marketing initiatives through writing articles, attendance at business briefings, rural shows and team to teams with professionals in the rural sector.
• Develop relationships with existing and future clients through hosting seminars and training sessions.
• Develop good relationships with other departments across the Firm and identify opportunities to cross refer services offered by the Firm.
