Solicitor (1-4 years’ PQE)

Do you find yourself wanting more from your role? Wanting to do work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives? If so, maybe it’s time for a change. Maybe it’s time to consider whether the legal work you do matters, because in the role we have for you, it really matters to the people you’ll help.

Our firm continues to go from strength to strength and, owing to continual growth, we are currently recruiting for a Solicitor with 1-4 years’ PQE to join our Network team in Ayr, on a full-time, permanent basis. We think you could be that solicitor.

Are you based in the southwest of Scotland and tired of a commute into Glasgow city centre? If so, our regional office in Ayr would be the perfect fit for you! It may be that you live in, or are from the local area, are keen to be based in an office location a short journey from home, and to give back to your community - if that is the case, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for!

Our Ayr injury lawyers have served and helped families in a variety of areas across the southwest, including Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Dumfries & Galloway, or Kirkcudbrightshire.

Since the office opened in 2015 our staff have helped people affected by:

• Road traffic accidents
• Workplace injuries
• Fatal accidents
• Occupiers’ liability cases

As well as securing compensation, which is vital due to the the injuries sustained by these people, you will be responsible for guiding them through one of the most traumatic times in their lives – providing support, empathy and helping them find closure.

In joining the team, you will benefit from its expertise, experience, resources, and reputation, as you embark upon an exciting new chapter in your career in a very challenging and rewarding area of PI law.

We want you to ask yourself…

• Am I an enthusiastic individual with strong, client-focused litigation skills?
• Do I have some experience in general personal injury law or civil litigation? Or have I been working in commercial litigation and am now looking to move into an area of law where I can make a real difference to clients?
• Do I have a keen eye for detail, the ability to act on my own initiative and a strong desire to help others, with the ability to display an empathetic and proactive approach in dealing with clients?
• Can I be a team player - someone who can manage their own case holding, whilst supporting others in a team with more complex cases?

If the above resonates, and helping people really matters to you, we want you to apply for this post. To do so, please send your CV and covering letter to David Hendrie, by e-mail at recruit@digbybrown.co.uk as soon as possible.
