As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and driven Supervising Solicitor to join our team. About the role

As Supervising Solicitor, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading our legal team and shaping the client experience. You’ll be responsible for:

• Supervising and mentoring our team of solicitors, ensuring excellence in legal work and client service. This will involve carrying out training and supervision/oversight of the work undertaken by a junior-mid level team.
• Working closely with the Founding Partners to create capacity in their roles, ensuring smooth delegation of legal work and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
• Advising on a range of commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, shareholder agreements, M&A transactions, commercial leases, and employment law.
• Leading complex legal projects for high-growth businesses, including investment rounds and business sales and acquisitions.
• Supporting strategic decision-making for clients, offering commercially astute advice that aligns with their growth plans.
• Collaborating with our leadership team to develop best practices, training, and professional development for the legal team.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An experienced commercial and/or corporate solicitor – You should be a solicitor qualified in England and Wales or Scotland with at least 4+ years PQE in commercial law, corporate transactions, or business advisory work.
• Growth mindset – you may not be familiar with all of the areas of law that we offer but you are eager to expand your skill set and learn on the job.
• A confident leader – You have experience supervising, mentoring, or managing junior lawyers.
• Commercially savvy – You understand the needs of scaling businesses and how to provide legal solutions that align with their growth.
• Pragmatic & solutions-focused – You don’t just spot problems; you offer clear, actionable advice that makes sense in the real world.
• Client-first mindset – You’re approachable, straight-talking, and committed to delivering high-quality legal support.
• Entrepreneurial & adaptable – You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business and are keen to be part of an innovative, modern law firm.
• Team player - This is a busy, full-time role and whilst as a team we value balance and encourage this every day, there will be times when you will be required to work beyond the standard working hours of 8:30am to 5pm.  We operate an ‘all hands to the deck’ philosophy with the team when there are peaks in workload, we’re all in it together.

• Salary range £60k - £70k p/a - based on experience
• 30 days annual leave - including Bank Holidays
