We have a vacancy for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to start on 1st December 2024, although we can offer some flexibility on start date. We are a small firm focusing on child and family law. There will also be exposure to some mental health and incapacity law.

The majority of the workload will be legal aid, with a high level of client contact. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of appearing in courts and tribunals at an early stage of your career, with appropriate support and supervision.

Salary will be in line with Law Society guidelines. There is capacity for flexible and home working as your traineeship progresses. A strong work ethic, common sense approach and willingness to learn are essential.  A genuine desire to work in child and family law is necessary.
