VP Legal Counsel - Competition Law

Join us as Legal Counsel – Competition Law VP at Barclays where you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the bank’s activities are conducted in compliance with applicable competition laws and regulations, and in managing the competition legal and reputational risks associated with these activities. You will be part of a dynamic team that looks after competition issues worldwide.

Key skills required for this role include:

• Qualified lawyer with strong knowledge and experience of competition law.
• Experience gained in-house or in a challenging private practice environment.
• Strong communication skills and confident engaging stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a
team.

Other highly valued skills include:
• Experience working within financial services industry (desirable but not essential).
