Dentons has appointed one of its lawyers as chief mindfulness officer in Europe. Warsaw partner Karina Furga-Dabrowska's appointment comes after she launched the firm's NextMind program, which aims to help its lawyers reduce stress.

Dentons has launched a risk consulting business to provide advisory, assurance and remediation services to clients. Dentons Risk Consulting is led by managing directors John Davison and Christian Blackwell.

Dentons has announced its unaudited, headline financial results for the UK & Middle East region during the financial year to 30 April 2019. Revenue at the firm was £229.8 million, an increase of 13 per cent on 17/18 (£203.1m). Revenues have risen 48 per cent since 2014/15.

Dentons has announced the promotion of 25 new partners from the UK and Europe, including three in Scotland. Edinburgh-based Donald Smith and Glasgow-based Craig Kennedy and Alison Weatherhead have all been made partners in the latest promotions round.
